Who we are

Ferry Innovation Forum (FIF) is organised by Meaningful Experience OÜ (ME) and Hafring OÜ, and hosted by Port of Tallinn. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through ferryinnovation.com.

  • Meaningful Experience OÜ is the controller for event registration and ticketing.
  • Hafring OÜ is the controller for its own invitation outreach.
  • Sponsor enquiries sent through this website are received by both organisers, who each handle them as controller for their own follow-up.

For any privacy question, write to hello@ferryinnovation.com.

What we collect

When you send the sponsor form, we receive your name, company, e-mail address, and, if you add them, your phone number and the customer who could share the stage with you.

This website does not use cookies or advertising trackers. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views in aggregate: it sets no cookies, does not track you across websites, and identifies a visit only by a hash that is discarded after 24 hours, so we cannot tell who you are. Our hosting provider also keeps short-lived technical server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and protect the site.

Why we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and discuss a programme slot and partnership package with you.
  • To keep a record of that conversation while it is relevant.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and, where it applies, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We only share it with service providers that help us run FIF:

  • Vercel, which hosts this website and provides its cookie-free visitor statistics.
  • Google (Google Sheets and Apps Script), where sponsor enquiries are stored and from where they are e-mailed to our inbox.
  • Our e-mail hosting provider, which stores the messages we receive.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

We keep sponsor enquiries for as long as the conversation is active and for up to 24 months after FIF 2027, unless a contract requires us to keep them longer. After that we delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. Write to hello@ferryinnovation.com and we will reply within one month.

You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee) or the data protection authority in your own country.

Changes

We will update this page when registration and ticketing open, or when anything else about how we handle personal data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
